Well, here is the first entry of my new blog site entitled “upnadam.” I think that you can figure that one out just fine. My last blog site “voiceinafrica” had to be discontinued because I am no longer in Africa. So I wanted to create a new blog name that could be used no matter where I am. A friend of mine in Seattle, Francis Webb, told me that “upnadam” would suit me well. So here it is!!
I have just landed in Taipei, Taiwan. As we were making out descent into the city the sun was rising behind the mountains. Some of the mountains here rise above the clouds and seem to have knife edged ridges. As we descended beneath the clouds I found that the morning sun hadn’t yet stretched its rays onto the city. I had the opportunity to see it first. I am not at my gate awaiting my flight to Manila. The flight from Seattle to Taipei was about 12 and a half hours. The one to Manila is only 2 and a half. I slept most of the flight here, praise God for that!!
Thank you all for your prayers and for your partnership with me in this new chapter of my life. I trust that God will continue to use me as He has spared my life physically while in Uganda. Not only sparing my life physically but I have also been saved spiritually. How much greater is that? God is good and in Him I put my trust, completely.

Good for you. I’m happy to hear you’ve decided on your next step. God, indeed, is great, and I am thankful to Him for allowing me all the travels I have taken in the past 6 months, as wel. To have such a purpose as you, however? I am happy for you.
